1. Event Organiser
The 5th EPAN Meeting 2026 ("the Event") is organised by the Local Organising Committee of the European Proteomics Amyloid Network (EPAN), hosted at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Department of Medicine & Proteomics Core Facility.

2. Registration & Eligibility
Registration for the Event is open only to invited EPAN members. By completing the registration form, you confirm that:
- You have received an invitation from the organisers or are an existing EPAN member.
- All information provided is accurate and complete.
- You accept these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Important: Registration without prior invitation is invalid and will not be reimbursed. If you wish to attend and have not received an invitation, please contact the organiser to request one.
3. Registration Fees
The following registration options are available:
- Full Package (Conference + Lunch + Dinner): €80.00
- Conference + Dinner only: €65.00
- Conference + Lunch only: €65.00
- Conference only: €50.00
- Online attendance / Sponsor: Free
All prices include VAT where applicable. Fees are payable in Euros (€) via credit/debit card through our secure payment gateway (EveryPay).
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
⚠️ NOTE FOR JULIE (remove before production): Refunds are processed manually via the EveryPay dashboard (dashboard.everypay.gr). You can issue partial or full refunds from there for any registration.
We understand that circumstances may change. Our refund policy is as follows:
- More than 30 days before the Event (before 18 February 2026): Full refund minus a €10 administrative fee.
- 15-30 days before the Event (18 February – 5 March 2026): 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before the Event (after 5 March 2026): No refund.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to jcourraud@uoa.gr. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
Substitutions: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible EPAN member by notifying us at least 7 days before the Event.
Changing Registration Type: If you need to change your registration type after payment (e.g., adding or removing lunch/dinner), please contact us at jcourraud@uoa.gr. Changes are subject to availability and may require processing a refund and new payment.
Event Cancellation: If the Event is cancelled by the organisers due to unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), registrants will receive a full refund. The organisers are not liable for any additional costs incurred by participants (travel, accommodation, etc.).
5. Payment Security
All payments are processed securely through EveryPay, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment service provider regulated by the Bank of Greece. Your card details are encrypted and processed directly by EveryPay; we do not store your full card information.
You will receive:
- An automatic payment confirmation from EveryPay immediately after payment.
- A registration confirmation email from the organisers within 72 hours.
6. Event Participation
By registering, you agree to:
- Conduct yourself professionally and respectfully towards other participants.
- Follow any health and safety guidelines provided by the venue or organisers.
- Respect the intellectual property of presenters and not record or distribute presentations without explicit consent.
7. Photography & Recording
The Event may be photographed or recorded for promotional and archival purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image in such materials unless you notify the organisers in writing.
Speakers have the option to consent to or decline recording of their presentations as indicated during registration.
8. Liability
The organisers take reasonable care to ensure the safety and well-being of participants. However, attendance at the Event is at your own risk. The organisers are not liable for:
- Personal injury or loss of property during the Event.
- Any loss arising from the cancellation or modification of the Event programme.
- Third-party services (travel, accommodation, catering beyond our control).
9. Changes to the Programme
The organisers reserve the right to modify the Event programme, speakers, or venue if necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes via email.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
